WORKS ON PAPER 

In 2022, Smith integrated paintings and prints within her art practice.

Inspired by the works of Salvador Dalí, experienced firsthand in 2021 at Salvador Dalí Museums, and the profound impact of Isamu Noguchi's extensive exhibition Noguchi at the Barbican, Smith found herself drawn to the potential of two-dimensional mediums.

Viewing these works on paper as extensions of her sculpture, Smith perceives them as 2D sculptures, each forming from digital blueprints of her three-dimensional artworks. This introduction of works on paper marked a pivotal evolution in her practice.
